Biography

Elaine Spicher joined the Kreisher Marshall and Associates, LLC team in February 2019. In her role as Elder Care Coordinator, she advocates for, supports, guides, and assists her clients and their families through every step of the challenges posed by aging and/or a significant medical diagnosis. She is a graduate of Bloomsburg University with a bachelor’s degree in social work. Elaine has over 25 years of experience providing social services in hospital and long-term care settings, as well as in community outreach. She has extensive training and experience working with individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

She is a Certified Medicaid Planner and Certified Dementia Practitioner. Elaine co-leads the regional initiative Dementia Friendly Susquehanna Valley and co-facilitates a monthly Dementia Caregiver Support Group, and created a monthly program, Crafting at the Exchange. She is also an executive member of the Bloomsburg Walk to End Alzheimer’s Planning Committee and Walk Team Captain. Elaine is a member of the Central Columbia School District Board of Directors and the Central Columbia Educational Foundation. Elaine resides in Bloomsburg with her husband, Matt, and they have 3 children: Alex, Nick, and Lauren. Outside of work, Elaine enjoys baking, beach trips to the Outer Banks, and spending time with her family and friends.
