Biography
Elaine Spicher joined Kreisher Marshall & Associates, LLC in February 2019 as an Elder Care Coordinator. In this role, she advocates for, supports, and guides clients and their families through the complex challenges associated with aging and significant medical diagnoses, providing compassionate, individualized care every step of the way.
Elaine earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Bloomsburg University and has more than25 years of experience in social services. Her professional background spans hospital settings, long-term care, and community outreach. She has extensive training and expertise in supporting individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. She is a Certified Medicaid Planner and Certified Dementia Practitioner.
Elaine is actively engaged in her community, serving as co-leader of the regional initiative Dementia Friendly Susquehanna Valley and as the creator of Crafting at the Exchange, a monthly engagement program. She also co-facilitates a Dementia Caregiver Support Group and mentors individuals interested in establishing caregiver support programs. In addition, Elaine is an executive member of the Bloomsburg Walk to End Alzheimer’s Planning Committee, serves as a Walk Team Captain, and is both an Alzheimer’s Association Advocate and Community Educator.
She is a memberof the Central Columbia Educational Foundation and previously served for eightyears on the Central Columbia School District Board of Directors.
Elaine resides in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Matt. They have three adult children and recently welcomed their first grandchild. In her free time, she enjoys baking, traveling to the Outer Banks and Nashville, and spending time with family and friends.
