Biography
Emily joined the Kreisher Marshall and Associates team in August 2024. She serves as an Elder Care Coordinator, providing support, advocacy, and assistance to Life Care Planning (LCP) clients as they move through the aging process. She takes extra care to support family members and other individuals involved in our clients’ care.
Emily is a native of Washington, DC. She graduated from Kenyon College in 2004 and received her master’s in social work from the University of Kentucky in 2009. She served as a therapist and caseworker on inpatient psychiatric units in the Bloomsburg area for several years, and then joined the Geisinger Hospice team, providing end-of-life care to Hospice patients for five years. In 2021, she joined Miller Law Firm PC as an Elder Care Coordinator, before joining KMA.
In addition to her work at KMA, she has helped to create a Social Work program at the Bloomsburg Public Library, where she offers a weekly Grief Support group, hosts a twice-monthly Memory Café, and provides support to Library patrons and the greater Bloomsburg community. She also serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors of The Women’s Center of Columbia and Montour Counties.
In her free time, Emily enjoys reading, walking/hiking, and traveling with her family and friends. She lives in Bloomsburg with her spouse, two daughters, and a goofy, lovable dog.
