Autumn is my favorite season. The vibrant colors, the spicy scents, and the perfect weather make me want to sit outside with a cozy blanket, a warm cup of coffee, and a good book. My current book obsession is the Sweater Weather series. This series features seven fall-themed, low spice, small town rom-coms featuring some of your favorite tropes. This multi-author series is set in the fictional dreamy town of Harvest Hollow— inspired by the Gilmore Girls town Stars Hollow.
Available with a Kindle Unlimited subscription, these clean rom-com’s are truly delightful. Each story is unique and can be read in any order or even as stand-alone novels. The characters all know each other through work, school, family, or the local hockey team called the Appies so you feel like you get to know them all as you read through the series.
I personally read all the books in order and found the first (Just Don’t Fall by Emma St. Clair) and last (Absolutely Not in Love by Jenny Proctor) to be my favorites. They both focused on the local minor league hockey team in Harvest Hollow and are both a part of another series called The Appies (a series of 7 books written by Emma St. Clair and Jenny Proctor). Can’t Help Falling by Courtney Walsh was a close runner up for favorites in this series. There’s just something so good about Courtney Walsh’s writing style that made me want to read all her other books (but more on that for another time).
Mentions of the local farmer’s market, apple donuts, the most darling bookstore, and trips to the local pumpkin patch and corn maze will have you ready for fall in no time! Add all the books in the Sweater Weather series to your fall TBR list now.
