Introducing Our Newest Elder Care Program: Life Care Planning Lite

At Kreisher Marshall & Associates, LLC, we understand the unique challenges that come with aging. Planning for long-term care isn’t just wise – it’s a must. This is why we’ve recently launched our new program for those seeking an easy-to-understand, streamlined option for long term care planning with our support. Our firm is proud to introduce Life Care Planning Lite (LCP LITE).

What is Life Care Planning Lite?

Our new program is designed to assist individuals and families who want to take a proactive approach to elder care but don’t want to commit to a traditional life care plan. Hence, the “lite” version. LCP Lite does help in the same way, though, by assisting clients in preparing for the future and making decisions before a crisis occurs.

In LCP Lite, you will develop a relationship with the team at Kreisher Marshall & Associates, LLC. We will take you through a series of discussions to completely and wholly understand your goals and desires when it comes to long-term care so we can step in when needed. Why is this beneficial to do? Oftentimes, a crisis presents itself without warning—strokes, aneurysms, and sudden illnesses can change a family’s circumstances in an instant. In some unfortunate cases, you may not be able to advocate for yourself anymore.  LCP Lite is a pre-need assurance that when a crisis strikes, you have a plan.

What’s Included in Life Care Planning Lite?

There are three core components of LCP LITE. Each is important, as we learn different things about you in regard to the main aspects of elder care. We will be discussing important questions, some questions you may not even expect to ask yourself. Here are the three main components and what is included in each:

1. Personal Needs Assessment

Every client begins with a thorough evaluation of their health and financial situation. This process helps identify current care gaps, anticipate future needs, and explore available options to pay for care. At a minimum, clients will receive:

  • An initial assessment with an Elder Care Coordinator (ECC)
  • A six-month follow-up check-in

Each time we meet together, it will be tailored to discuss your unique needs. We are comprehensive in asking about your health, financial planning, wishes, and even personal goals, as well as what you picture the rest of your life looks like. Together, we will create a roadmap for the things concerning you now and the things that may come up later.

During the legal assessment, we will go over your current estate planning documents with you to determine if they are still current and adequate to your wishes. This is an important step in making sure you keep control of your life and finances and that your wishes are protected after death. Our legal team will:

  • Review existing estate planning documents
  • Provide recommendations for updates or additions, if needed

Clients who choose to implement any new estate planning documents during their LCP LITE engagement will receive a 15% discount on those services.

3. Advocacy & Care Coordination

LCP LITE also includes access to a professional team that can assist with identifying and managing appropriate care providers. This includes:

  • Home health care
  • Personal care services
  • Skilled nursing facilities

Navigating these healthcare systems is not always easy. We can answer your questions about what each one is like and what we recommend for you. The goal is to ensure the client receives proper care in the least restrictive environment possible, maintaining dignity and independence for as long as safely feasible.

Life Care Planning LITE provides more than just documents and referrals—it offers peace of mind. Clients develop an early relationship with a team that understands their needs and stands ready to help when the unexpected happens. With LCP LITE, you’re not just planning for the future—you’re building a support system that will be there when it matters most.
